Save Icon
Save (セーブ Sēvu?) is an action keyword introduced in BT-10: Booster Xros Encounter. It is indicated by "Save" on an orange background.
How it Works[]
＜Save＞ means you would place the card with ＜Save＞ underneath 1 of your Tamers.
Per Tamer Instance rulings, the following rules apply:
- The Tamer will not receive the Inherited Effects.
- If the Tamer leaves the field, the cards underneath are trashed.
- If the Tamer becomes a Digimon, the cards underneath become digivolution cards and their inherited effects become active.

Q: Are cards placed underneath a tamer with ＜Save＞, ＜Material Save＞, or other effects treated as digivolution cards?A: No, the cards placed underneath a tamer are not treated as digivolution cards and will not have their inherited effects. If the Tamer digivolves into a Digimon, those cards will be treated as digivolution cards, and their inherited effects will be active.

Q: Are Digimon with the effect of ＜Material Save nocateogry＞ (When this Digimon would be deleted, you may place nocateogry cards in this Digimon's DigiXros requirements from this Digimon's digivolution cards under 1 of your Tamers) included as "Digimon with ＜Save＞ in its text"?A: No. It is not included. If the target of "with description of" is a word written in normal characters, even if it is part of the text, it will be covered if there is a notation, but if the word is an icon such as ＜Save＞. In the case of target, only those that match exactly including the icon are included.[1]
