The Digimon Card Game Fest tournaments were the first mostly large scale In Real Life tournaments for the Digimon Card Game
Format[]
- The tournaments are a Swiss structure and the first official events to use the Mulligan and Side Deck Rules
- Rounds were played as a Best of 3
Prizing[]
- There are 3 different prize structures on offer for the Digimon Card Game Fests based on the maximum number of players that could enter the tournament
- These are the minimum official requirements prizes for the events, stores may choose to add their own prizes on top of the ones provided by bandai
- All cards are foil
- All but 4 cards are the same as existing cards but with a "Digimon Card Game Fest" Stamp
- The Kazumasa Yasukuni art of [BT1-062 SlashAngemon] in the Fest Set is a new Alternative Art for the English
- The art was first released in the Japanese exclusive Tamer Battle Pack 9
- [Diaboromon Token Diaboromon Token] has its first official printing in the Fest Set
- The Tonamikanji art of both Fest Stamp SR [BT3-091 Lilithmon] are Full Art
